These tours will be taking place on Day 1 of TFEST24 on November 11th from 9am onwards. All travel will be provided and we will be meeting at the TFEST24 venue, at the Colosseum Kino Venue in Berlin.
This tour is reserved for TFEST24 end user attendees ONLY and capped at a maximum of 50 attendees. To book, you must purchase a TFEST24 Standard Pass and choose to add-on the Beiersdorf Tour at the checkout.
A champion for sustainability in the skincare industry, Beiersdorf, a global company with over 21,000 employees, implements the Beyond SkinCare initiative to minimise its environmental impact through CO2 reduction and circularity practices.
Since 2019, all their facilities worldwide use renewable electricity (Scope 2 emissions). The Berlin plant has gone a step further by switching to biomethane, a renewable source for heating and process heat, which further reduces their carbon footprint (Scope 1 emissions).
Beiersdorf is committed to making all their factories carbon neutral by 2030. The Berlin manufacturing plant has been a strong proponent of this and has become its first plant to switch to biogas, from the beginning of 2022 This includes a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (30% by 2025) across all stages of production (direct and indirect emissions).

Despite being their most compact plant globally, BMB stands out for its production efficiency. BMB churns out a staggering 1.3 million bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel daily and reaching over 60 countries annually.
A champion for environmental responsibility, BMB exemplifies Beiersdorf's dedication to a greener future. In a ground-breaking move in 2022, the plant transitioned to 100% biogas, slashing its CO2e footprint by an impressive 99% compared to 2018.
BMB further strengthens its commitment by strategically sourcing a significant portion of its raw materials from local suppliers within a 30-minute radius, minimising transportation emissions and fostering a sustainable, localised supply chain. .
