About this event

LEVERAGING SUPPLY CHAIN RESILIENCE WITH DECISION INTELLIGENCE

In an ever-changing world of frequent disruptions and constantly shifting consumer preferences, supply chains can no longer rely on traditional approaches to predict, plan, and operate. When exceptions become the norm, decision intelligence trumps planning.

Digital transformation is changing everything. Some estimate that up to 40% of all jobs will be transformed by artificial intelligence within the next ten years. This transformation means a shift in financial models, business models, and social structures. As companies adapt to a new era of Decision Intelligence, this brand-new event will seek to reimagine how organizations can operate and thrive by embracing technological change.

Invitation only event with high level networking.

We are only inviting 50 of the Europe's most senior supply chain, IT, data, technology and procurement leaders to attend Dintell.

Companies are striving to go beyond just “doing digital" to truly transform their processes and become digital at the core. But many lack the agility to react to unanticipated changes and make a decision at the moment of greatest impact. With ongoing resource constraints, many such decisions are being left unmade every day – each one a missed opportunity for revenue upside or risk mitigation.

    Decision Intelligence is the solution.

    • Overview of how digitization can augment, and automate decision making
    • How Decision Intelligence is helping global companies truly achieve digital-native agility

Gladis Araujo - Global VP Quality, Mattel

Victoria Cobos - VP Operations, Deckers

In the past, many supply chain roles and skill sets were driven by decentralized supply chain setups: siloed operations relied on manual processes, and had difficulty quickly adapting to change.

Today, companies are working toward a new reality of integrated digital supply chains. However, many current job profiles have not been updated to reflect this new reality and are lacking important skills, such as an end-to-end supply chain mindset, cross-functional communication skills, data mastery, and analytical abilities.

A McKinsey Global Institute survey showed that 87% of global leaders think their companies are not ready to address the expected digital skills gap. What are the key drivers and impacts of the upcoming skills gap crisis in the supply chain? What can companies do now to safeguard their workforce?

    Key discussion areas:

    • What does the future workforce and governance structure look like in a world as decisions are increasingly being automated? Who are the people we need to cultivate for the future?
    • How organizations are embracing new models like Human-in-the-Loop and Human-on-the-loop, and what are your team’s opportunities for growth with Decision Intelligence?
    • What profiles do we need to add to our strategic hiring plans?
    • DI is an enterprise wide solution: SC planning, logistics, procurement, sustainability but also finance, marketing & sales.
